Berb.

Yeah, yeah, I'm long overdue for a post. Switching over to the new blogger system resulted in my being locked out of my own blog because the anti-spam blog bots flagged it as a potential spam blog. What a nice welcome to the new system! Here's a pic of what I saw when I would log into my blog.

Anyway, so that accounts for some of my absence anyway. I'm not sure what to write about exactly, but I owe the world a post so for now I will post an old "poem/monologuey-thing" that I wrote a few years ago that Will recently dicovered for me. It is amazing. I actually have this on an old hard drive of mine that died, also a few years ago. If I shell out a few hundered, I can have it reclaimed through all kinds of tech magic and have all my old documents back, which I will do some day. For now, enjoy Berb. (By the way, Berb also happens to be the name of the first clay sculpture I ever made when I was about 4-5 I think.)

BERB

I know Berb,
good guy,
you know,
just plain old fashioned good.
We went bowling once.
Man, he aced me.
I swear he was like a "bowling shark" or something.
He bought me dinner though.
Sure, it was just a hamburger
but he knew the chef,
so it was extra good.
It had spices on it and everything,
there was even extra lettuce.
I actually don't care too much for lettuce,
but it was just the thought,
you know,
that extra bit that you just have to clap your hands for.
Berb was all about extra bits,
extra everything.
Whatever he did,
you could be sure that there was always that special addition
you know,
that thing that would just scream
BERB.
I haven't seen him in a while....
I wonder what he's up to?
Does he still work for that company that sells old shoes?
Maybe...
Man, he had a hot sister.
Too bad she was a total retard.
That always seems to happen to those types,
you know,
like you can only have so much of a good thing.
Oh well,
what can you do?
I figure,
the only thing you really can do
is just live normally.
Then one day,
when I'm casually walking down the street
and I see Berb,
I'll kick him in the nuts.
You know?
