I caught the bus to work today. The same bus that all the Tsawwassen high-school students who live in Ladner also take and I over heard an interesting clip of a conversation between three girls:

“So anyway, Joey said, ‘Well, is there anything I can do to make you like me?’ And I tell him, ‘No probably not,’ and then I tell him we can still be friends though and...” I stopped paying attention after that part.

I like this Joey guy. I know we’ve all been in similar situations and we’ve all wanted to ask the same question he did, but we don’t of course, because we know we’ll just get the response she gave him. But I liked that he asked anyway. Though the way girls are looking these days, they were probably in like grade 9, so most likely, Joey didn’t know any better. Regardless, I thought the situation humourous.



Anyways, back to work...
