I should really be in bed… considering I haven’t been at my TOP-MOST for the past few days and I really have no excuse to be up this late. It’s only that I’ve been going to bed so late for the past while…I’m going to change topic now this one sucks.
Today, Shaun and I had an adventure. We spent the best part of the afternoon exploring watershed park right down by Highway 10 and Scott Road. Man, was it a gorgeous day, a perfect one for what we were doing. We went down by this creek and tried to build a dam out of rocks, but only ended up redirecting the water about a foot. We climbed over a deeper/rougher part of the creek using a small fallen log. We climbed another tree up quite high, only to discover that if we went any higher, we’d probably kill ourselves…
We ended up in the back of an elementary school in rich suburbia and then went to Earls. All in all, an amazing afternoon. If I had a digital camera, this is where the plethora of pics would be.
Acoustic powerhouse tonight and it was awesome. I showed up way late with my guitar and Logan asked “Are you in Eb tuning?” “Yeah, why?” “Ok good, because all our songs are going to be in Eb.” “YES!” We played four songs and we ran them all together, it was rad times.
Anyways, not much else to say. I’m going to be so sad when Logan leaves. He’s a genius, not to mention an incredible guy. My music life will never be the same without him.
