Where will we go? I don't care, as long as it's away from here.

I'm still not entirely sure in what direction I'd like to take this new incarnation of my blog.

Do I want to reserve it for more introspective posts? Should I keep it more surface-y so that I can post more often? Like most things, I think the answer lies in some balance of both? I mean, it's mine, so I can do whatever the fuuuuuuxuxck I want.

My older blog posts have a smattering of both styles, introspection and life factoids. It's been great being able to have these concrete reminders of not only what was factually happening around me at the time, but also what my mental state was. I guess that's what I'd like from these entries too, whenever these become old and semi-forgotten.

Speaking of blogging: When I was speaking to Jo about this "Start long-form blogging again" project, she reminded me that back in the day, when Facebook posts, Tweets etc. were just starting out, they were described as "Micro-blogging." I remember that. In some way, what i'm doing here is already a forced exercise in a more antiquated form of communication. Imagine that. Blogging is for olds. Jeeeeesus.

I hope that not all of my future posts involve some form of meta-blog, navel-gazing discussion. Or maybe it will. I guess we'll just have to wait it out!

More old references. Wow.

oh hey, so what started as a typo, a few random "x"s in a drawn out "fuuuuxuxxuck", is now something I've decided to actually intentionally perpetuate. Just because I like the way it looks. What good is being fluent in a language if you can't play with it eh? EH????
